Experience

Will has over 25 years of experience working for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients. He has experience with adaptive re-use, educational, civic, government, restaurant/hospitality, industrial, and commercial projects of varying scale. Believing in a service-focused approach to practice, he is committed to a collaborative, communicative, and empathetic process unique to each project, while leveraging his diverse experience for a project’s success.

At Yum! Brands, Will gained an appreciation of merging the multiple agendas of various stakeholders, where architecture is understood to be one part of a big picture that includes economics, branding, and customer loyalty.

One consistent theme that Will has noticed in his practice years is the continued importance of the architect in the overall success of the project. He is comfortable leading the team to ensure consensus; all owners rely on the architect to bring the parties together and ensure the process is smooth.

Will received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky.
